One major pumping appliance and a light 4x4 vehicle from Wadebridge, the Rescue Tender from Bodmin and two Flexi-Duty Officers were mobilised to reports of a roof collapse at a domestic property with a casualty trapped underneath the wreckage.

The crew discovered a small area of ceiling had collapsed but the casualty had been released prior to arrival and was in the hands of South Western Ambulance Service.

Firefighters completed an investigation into the cause of the collapse before making the scene safe and returning to station.
