At 07:43 we received a 999 call for a fire in a residential care home. Three appliances, two from Bodmin and one from Lostwithiel were mobilised along with a Group Manager from St Austell.

The fire was out on arrival and the crew of the first appliance were able to inspect the building to ensure it was safe. All other resources were stood down and returned once it was established the fire had been extinguished.
