On initial reports of this incident, appliances from Camborne and Redruth were mobilised. On arrival the crews found that the fire involved a chip fryer, which was fortunately out on arrival. Brigade personnel requested an ambulance to treat a casualty for the effects of smoke inhilation, crews inspected the premises to ensure its safety.
