On receipt of this call, resources from St. Columb and St. Dennis were mobilised, on arrival crews found a mobile home measuring 5 x 6 metres well alight, teams of firefighters used hosereels to extinguish the fire, further resources were requested and an appliance from Newquay attended. An ambulance was requested and one casualty was treated at the scene for the effects of smoke inhilation and then transferred to hospital. Crews were delayed for a time damping down, the last appliance returning at approximately 1800 hours.
