Appliances from Fowey and Lostwithiel were mobilised on receipt of this call, on arrival at the scene a message was received that there were 'persons reported', teams of firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used a hosereel and jet on entering the building, the semi detached property was thoroughly searched and confirmed that there were no persons in the building, the crews extinguished the fire which was confined to the ground floor, crews also proceeded to ventilate the property.
