Dog Rescued From Mine Shaft

Critical Control received a call from the owner of a dog who had fallen down a mine shaft and got stuck approximately 10 foot down. The specialist rope rescue equipment from Tolvaddon Fire Station was mobilised along with the support vehicles. One Technical Rescue Officer was also mobilised.
A single rescuer was committed on two lines and the dog was brought successfully to the surface by 2233hrs, to be reunited with its owner.
