Critical Control received a request from Ambulance Control to assist with one of their ambulances that had reported a clutch went bang and there was smoke coming from the bonnet.
Two appliances were mobilised one from St Columb Fire Station and one from Wadebridge Fire Station. On arrival the fire had already been extinguished by a passer-by using a dry powder extinguisher. The fire crew made the vehicle safe.
