Two appliances from St Ives Community Fire Station and one from Hayle Community Fire Station attended a fishing vessel on fire alongside in the harbour. On arrival crews found the wheel house of the vessel to be well alight they used two main jets and two sets of breathing apparatus to extinguish the fire. Police, Coastguard and Environment Agency also informed and in attendance. Further investigations into the cause of the fire will be carried out in daylight.
