Appliances from Newquay and Perranporth attended this incident, which involved a large camper van, which on arrival was found well alight, firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used high pressure hose reels at the scene to extinguish the fire. Crews were delayed for some time damping down. The cause was accidental.

The owners were alerted by a smoke alarm within the vehicle, which ensured that all persons were quickly out of the vehicle and away from immediate danger.
