At 03:45 this morning a call was received to a property whose external electrical intake box was on fire. Two appliances from Falmouth were mobilised to the scene and an Electrical engineer was requested to attend. Firefighters used carbon dioxide fire extinguishers on the fire, a third appliance was requested to attend at 04:17 for further CO2 cylinders and breathing apparatus. At 04:55 crews confirmed that the electricity supply to the property had been isolated and that fire crews had removed the electrical intake box from the building. Firefighters remained on scene cutting away to ensure that the fire had not spread into the building. Crews left scene at 06:00.
