At 22:04 Critical Control received a call from police reporting a road traffic collision involving a single vehicle on its side with at least one person trapped inside. Two appliances were mobilised from Penzance, a Rescue Tender from Tolvaddon and a Station Manager from Hayle. South Western Ambulance Service confirmed that they were aware of the incident and had sent two ambulances and an Operations Officer to the scene.

On arrival crews found two persons trapped inside the vehicle. Police officers put road closures in place while fire crews used crash rescue equipment to release the trapped casualties who were treated by ambulance crews.
