On receipt of this call, appliances from Looe and Liskeard were mobilised, on arrival crews found a wooden chalet measuring twenty five by ten metres well alight, firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used a main jet and hosereel jet to extinguish the fire, water was supplied using a light portable pump from a nearby water source. Crews were delayed some time extinguishing hot spots. An ambulance was requested to deal with two persons suffering the effects of smoke inhalation. The cause was accidental.
