Appliances from St Ives, Hayle and Tolvaddon attended a property in Lelant this evening to reports of a fire inside. On arrival the crew deployed two firefighters in breathing apparatus and a hose reel to the locate and extinguish the fire. Firefighters located a fire in a bedroom which was caused by an electric heater spreading to the curtains. The Firefighters and extinguished the flames managing to contain the damage to the one room. The cause is believed to be accidental.
