On receipt of this call, due to Cornwall Fire & Rescue resources deployed at other incidents, a request was made for an appliance from neighbouring Devon & Somerset. The call was to attend a caravan site where water had breached the flood defence, also mobilised were water rescue units from Bude. Devon & Cornwall Police were in attendance also Dartmoor and Cornwall Search & Rescue, multiple caravans were searched to check on the welfare of occupants, further resources were requested to attend, due to water units committed elsewhere, a water rescue unit from Devon attended, as well as the command unit from Launceston.
Approximately fifty caravans were checked, a total of eighteen people were evacuated, Emergency Management was informed and they rehoused some people who were evacuated.

Update 0400 hours: Water Rescue teams have been committed to ascertain number of residents that are still in their caravans and to undertake a welfare check, crews are remaining on site at this time.
