Once crew and an Officer from Penzance attended a call to a property where a carbon monoxide alarm had sounded and the occupants were suffering from headaches. On crews arrival they confirmed a reading of 48 parts per million of CO in the premise. Firefighters extinguished a fire in the property as they believed the carbon monoxide build up was as a result of a defective chimney flue. The property occupants were assessed on scene by Ambulance crews before being allowed to return to their property.
