At 09:16 the Critical Control Centre received a 999 call from a member of the public, stating their kitchen was on fire.

One appliance and an L4P from St Just, along with an appliance from Penzance were mobilised.

Once in attendance crews discovered one mid terrace property, heavily smoke logged. Firefighters used four breathing apparatus and one hose reel jet to extinguish the fire.

Crews remain on scene, cutting away and checking for hotspots.
