Cornwall Fire & Rescue Service have received in excess of 80 calls reporting a large fire on the moor between Wadebridge and St Columb.
Crews from Wadebridge, St Columb, Padstow and Bodmin are in attendance and en route to this incident.

Additional resources from St Columb and Padstow are en route to the incident. An Officer is also in attendance.
Update 0015 hours: Multiple large fronts of gorse are alight, the incident has been sectorised and the crews are using beaters in an attempt to get the fire under control.
Update 0100 hours: The fire has been extinguished, crews are now returning to their home stations. Arson is suspected.
