At 2122hrs on Friday 26th March 2021, Cornwall Fire & Rescue Service Critical Control Centre at Tolvaddon received a call to a fire at an address in North Street, Redruth. Two appliances from Tolvaddon and one from Falmouth were sent. Sadly, an 83 year old female was pronounced deceased at the scene. Next of kin have been informed. A Police and Fire investigation continues.

An appeal for witnesses has asked anyone with information to call Police on 101, or email 101@dc.police.uk quoting log number 931 of 260321.
