Rescue From Wet Sand

One female was reported being stuck in wet sand up to her knees on a beach in Newquay. Critical Control mobilised one appliance from Newquay Fire Station, Water Rescue from Falmouth, Rescue Tender from Bodmin and two Tech Rescue Officers.
The crew from the Newquay appliance were able to dig the lady out using a spade and waited with her until a paramedic checked her over and she returned home uninjured.
