Appliances from Truro, Tolvaddon and Perranporth responded to a kitchen fire.
One elderly female was treated at the scene for smoke inhalation and the fire service personnel rescue the lady's cat from the house.
Two sets of breathing apparatus and one hosereel jet were used to extinguish the fire.
