A crew from Wadebridge were initially mobilised to an automatic fire alarm activation at an address in Camelford. Following this Critical Control received further calls reporting a fire within a flat.
The incident was made 'Persons Reported' and additional resources from Bodmin, Launceston and Delabole were mobilised.
The crew arrived and discovered a fire in an upstairs flat. It was quickly established that all persons were accounted for. Firefighters in breathing apparatus used hose reel jets to fight the fire via a first floor window.
The fire was confirmed out by 19:13.
South Western Ambulance Service and Devon & Cornwall Police were also in attendance.
