Appliances from Helston, Falmouth and Tolvaddon attended a call to an external electrical box on fire which was reported as spreading to the roof. Crews initially attacked the fire wearing two breathing apparatus, one safety jet and one covering jet. An Ambulance was requested for a casualty on scene who was suffering from smoke inhalation. Western Power was requested to attend to isolate the electricity supplies. Later crews were using four breathing apparatus , one hose reel jet, one safety jet, a carbon monoxide extinguisher, one covering jet. At 10:43 breathing apparatus was withdrawn and crews were cutting away. The fire has now been extinguished and crews have returned to station.
