Smoke Sighted

At 16:18 Critical Control mobilised appliances from Tresco, Bryher and St Marys, to smoke sighted on the island of Tresco.

Firefighters booked in attendance and confirmed this was a false alarm, controlled burning with no threat of spread.

Tell the Critical Control Operator:
• Your location.
• Time you intend to start burning.
• Confirm when you have finished burning.
This helps us avoid sending fire engines to false alarms when they could be responding to a real emergency.
