At 1404 Critical Control received multiple calls to a vehicle on fire A30 eastbound at Highgate Hill. One appliance was mobilised from St Columb Fire Station. On route a second appliance and Wholetime Officer were also mobilised. On arrival a three vehicle RTC and a campervan was found to be well alight, Crews used two hose reel jets and a dry powder extinguisher to extinguish the fire. One LPG cylinder was also affected by fire and this is currently being ventilated by fire crews. Please avoid the area if possible.
