At 0230hrs our Critical Control Centre received a 999 call reporting a heavily smoke logged property and a fire in the loft space of the property. All occupants were able to leave the property whilst crews from Tolvaddon Community Fire Station were alerted.
On arrival crews were faced with smoke issuing from the property and the incident commander requested two more appliances. Alongside the two appliances (Falmouth and Perranporth), two wholetime officers, an Incident Command Unit (St Just) and Operational Support Vehicle (Falmouth) were also mobilised.
At 0253hrs the Incident Commander reported that the loft space was well alight and requested assistance from the Red Cross Emergency Response vehicle, based at Tolvaddon Fire Station.

Crews are using breathing apparatus, hose reel jets and a main jet to firefight. Gas and electricity supplies to the property have been isolated.
** Update @ 0600hrs **
Fire has now been extinguished. An initial fire investigation is being carried out. Appliances are now starting to leave the incident ground.
