At 20:22 one fire appliance from Newquay was mobilised to reports of a vehicle fire.
Newquay reported large amounts of smoke on arrival and requested the attendance of a further Fire Appliance.
Firefighters discovered one vehicle, well alight. Two Hose Reel Jets and two Breathing Apparatus were used to extinguish the fire.
