Crews from Fowey, Looe and Polruan attended this incident along with two flexi-duty officers.
On arrival a fire was confirmed in the apex of the roof and crews extinguished this using breathing apparatus and a hose reel jet.
The crews also removed slates from the roof and cut away battens to ensure there was no spread.
