Truro at 23/08/2021 06:43
06:43 we received a call from Police reporting a person in the water near Boscowan Park, Truro. Two appliances were mobilised from Truro Fire Station, along with Water Rescue Units from Falmouth and St Austell Fire Stations, an Incident Commander and Tactical Advisor.
A Coastguard Rescue Team and RNLI Inshore Lifeboat were also mobilised by Falmouth Coastguard.
At 08:39 we received confirmation from our crews that the casualty had been successfully rescued by the Inshore Lifeboat near Trelissick and was conveyed to the shoreline to be taken to waiting ambulance crews.
