Chimney Fire
The Old Ferry Inn, Bodinnick, near Polruan at 02/04/2006 18:36
One fire appliance from Polruan and one fire appliance from Lostwithiel attended. The chimney was well alight and the loft space was smoke logged. Crews used a hosereel, stirrup pump and rods to extinguish the fire by 2000hrs. Firefighters wearing breathing appratus checked the loft space for fire spread.
