Crews from Penzance and St Just were mobilised to a property fire.
On arrival the first attending appliance discovered smoke issuing from the kitchen and requested a further pumping appliance to attend. This came from St Ives.
The crews were faced with a fire involving the cooker. Two firefighters in breathing apparatus extinguished the fire using hose reel jets and a fire extinguisher.
