Helicopter - Emergency Landing

Two fire appliances from Liskeard, the rescue tender, water carrier and foam from Bodmin and one fire appliance from Lostwithiel were mobilised when a helicopter transmitted a mayday message stating that it would be attempting an emergency landing in a field near to Trago Mills. It appears that the helicopter had suffered a mechanical defect.
The helicopter landed safely and following an inspection by the Lostwithiel crew, the remainder of the emergency response was stood down.
There are no other details available from the brigade regarding this incident.
