Fire Involving Dutch Barn

Two fire appliances from Helston and one fire appliance from Falmouth attended. The fire involved a dutch barn, measuring 10 metres by 5 metres, containing hay and straw and also a mobile home, measuring 3 metres by 6 metres. Firefighters used 3 jets and 2 hosereels to bring the fire under control by 2215hrs. Crews then remained damping down for some considerable time.
