Crews from Fowey were mobilised on receipt of this call, on arrival there was found to be a beach hut measuring 3 x 4 metres alight, firefighters wearing breathing apparatus extinguished the fire using hosereels. Crews were delayed damping down and clearing out, the crews returning to home station at 0300 hours. Arson was suspected. Devon & Cornwall Police have been informed.
