On receipt of this call appliances from Mullion and Helston were mobilised, on arrival a further appliance, St. Keverne, was requested, the incident was classified as 'persons reported', fortunately someone in close proximity managed to assist four persons from the property, teams of firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used a high pressure hosereel jet, to extinguish the fire. An ambulance was requested to attend, as four persons were suffering the effects of smoke inhalation.
