Calls were received at 08:01 informing Fire Control of a Chimney Fire on Tehidy Road, Camborne.
In total, two appliances from Tolvaddon and Truro are in attendance, as well as an Aerial Ladder Platform from Newquay and a wholetime officer.
Crews confirm a chimney with a defective flume between two residential addresses is on fire and are using chimney gear and thermal image cameras to assess and extinguish the fire.
At this time, Tehidy Road has been shut by Fire Service personnel.
UPDATE 14:36hrs - Cornwall Fire & Rescue Service has now left the scene and the road has re opened.
