At 12:08 the fire service were called to reports of a possible electrical fire at a residential address. Two appliances were mobilised from Tolvaddon and a Wholetime Officer from Truro.

On arrival crews checked the property and found the smell of burning was due to water ingress into an electric socket.

Crews isolated the electrics and advised the occupant to contact a qualified electrician to inspect the affected wiring.
