Large Gorse Fire

One crew from Liskeard was mobilised to a report of gorse alight. Due to the number of repeat calls a further pump from Liskeard was mobilised. About 20 hectares of gorse was alight being fanned by strong winds. 2 further pumps were requested and these came from Lostwithiel and Bodmin. The fire was brought under control by 2327hrs using hosereel and beaters. Arson suspected and the police are dealing.
