At 22:52 the brigade were called to a car fire. One appliance from St Austell attended and found 2 cars well alight and used 2 hosereels and 2 breathing apparatus to extinguish the fire. There was slight damage to an adjacent building caused by the car fire. Arson is suspected to be the cause of the fire and Devon and Cornwall Police are investigating the matter.
