At 16:44 the brigade received the first call of many to a reported cottage on fire at the above address. On arrival the first crew reported smoke issuing from the property. Three appliances from Bodmin and one appliance from Lostwithiel attended. This was a terraced cottage of approximately 10 metres by 10 metres. Crews used four breathing apparatus and two hose reels to extinguish the fire, one crew from Bodmin remained at the premises until 19:50 continuing to damp down any hot spots of fire. The cause of the fire is believed to be of accidental origin.
