At 23:22 on 11/01/22, multiple calls were received informing Critical Control of a fire in an outbuilding of a residential address in Tresillian.

In total, 4 appliances attended this incident, coming from Truro, Perranporth and Falmouth Community Fire Stations. A whole time officer also attended.

On arrival, crews confirmed a single storey timber building measuring approximately 10 metres by 6 metres well alight. Crews, wearing breathing apparatus, used two hose reel jets to fight the fire.

Western Power were also informed and attended.

At this stage, the incident has scaled back and two appliances and a whole time officer remain on scene at the fire.

Update 06:30 - All appliances have now returned to home station.
