Crews from Tolvaddon and a wholetime officer were mobilised following multiple calls reporting thick black smoke issuing from a disused building.
The crew discovered a fire within an old plant room and requested a third appliance to attend. This came from Truro.
Two firefighters in breathing apparatus used a hose reel jet to extinguish the fire.
