At 19:31 Fire Control were contacted by Police Control reporting a Road Traffic Collision involving a vehicle which had rolled over and two people were trapped inside.

We mobilised appliances from Liskeard and Callington, the Rescue Tender from Bodmin and a Wholetime Station Manager. The first appliance arrived on scene within 9 minutes of the emergency call.

On arrival crews confirmed two people were medically trapped in the vehicle. Crews have used crash rescue equipment to remove the roof of the vehicle and are awaiting arrival of further ambulance resources before extricating both casualties.

UPDATE 20:45: Both casualties have been extricated by fire service personnel and handed over to ambulance crews for further treatment and transport to hospital.
