Critical Control Centre received a call at 13:58 to a kitchen fire in a property at Pentewan.
Two crews from St.Austell Community Fire Station along with two Wholetime officers attended the property.
The fire involved a waste bin which was out on arrival and crews then ventilated the property and also made it safe.
