Appliances from Newquay, Perranporth and Truro and a Flexi Duty Officer attended this incident. It involved a controlled burn that got out of control and affected a large area of gorse measuring 50m by 20m. The crews used beaters and hosereels to extinguish the fire they stayed on scene for some time to make safe. There are no further details for this incident.
