At 14:07 we received a 999 call reporting a residential house fire. Two appliances were mobilised from Looe and Liskeard, as well as a Wholetime Officer.

On arrival crews relayed a message that the ground floor lounge was well alight.

At 14:25 crews requested a third appliance as smoke was appearing in a neighbouring property. An appliance on route from Bodmin to standby at Liskeard was diverted to the incident.

4 firefighters wearing breathing apparatus (BA) used 2 hose reel jets to extinguish the fire.

The cause of the fire is unknown at this time and a Fire Investigation is expected to take place tomorrow.

All persons are accounted for.
