Two appliances from Tolvaddon were mobilised to a property reported as on fire. All occupants of the property were out on crews arrival. The property consisted of two floors measuring 6 x 6 metres. Firefighters entered the building wearing two breathing apparatus under rapid deployment, this was later upgraded to Breathing Apparatus stage 1. One hose reel, one safety jet and a thermal imaging camera was used to extinguish the fire. Gas and electric was isolated to the fire. Firefighters confirmed that the fire had been caused by an e-cigarette which had been left on a bed whilst charging.
