Critical Control mobilised 2 appliances and an officer to an address on Trewarton Road, Penryn at 12:50 following reports of a residential fire.
On arrival, crews confirmed smoke was issuing from the dwelling. Crews report one semi detached bungalow, measuring approx. 8 metres by 10 metres, is involved in fire. One hose reel jet and one safety jet is in use.
13:12: MAKE PUMPS 3 - Crews have requested an additional appliance.
13:38: In total, three appliances are now on scene from Falmouth and Truro. A whole time officer is also on scene. The adjacent property has been evacuated as a precaution.
