Gorse Fire - Update

We are currently dealing with make pumps 6 gorse fire in the Coverack area. There are appliances on scene from St Keverne, Mullion, Helston, Tolvaddon, Penzance, St Just & Falmouth Fire Stations.
Approx 8 hectares of gorse are involved being fanned by strong winds, the crews are using beaters and hosereels to extinguish the fire.
Update @ 0030hrs Fire now extinguished - all appliances now returning from the scene.
