Gorse Fire

Multiple calls were received to an area of Gorse on fire at 16:49. An appliance and a light 4 x 4 vehicle were mobilised from St Just.
On arrival, crews confirmed approx 2 hectares of gorse on fire. Crews are using a hose reel jet and beaters to fight the fire.
Crews have requested additional assistance from a second appliance. This was mobilised from Penzance.
Crews remain on scene.
