At 07:38 we were called to a fire in a residential property. Two appliances were mobilised from St Ives along with a wholetime Station Manager.

On arrival crews reported smoke issuing from the property. Shortly after a Make Pumps 4 assistance message was sent by the incident commander, resulting in appliances being mobilised from Tolvaddon and Penzance and a Group Manager.

Currently one bungalow is well alight and fire has spread to a neighbouring property. Further updates to follow.

UPDATE: Incident now sectorised. 6 Breathing Apparatus wearers, 1 hose reel jet, 1 safety jet, 1 covering jet in use. Gas supply isolated and Western Power Distribution are helping to isolate the electricity.

A full Fire Investigation will take place today due to significant damage caused to property.
